PACE+ST³: School/Instructor

PACE+ST3 offers the local Career and Technical institution, and instructional staff, a great opportunity to enhance and further develop a comprehensive program that aligns with industry dictates.  PACE+ST3 encompasses all principles, institution, instructor, student, parent, business and defines the needs to accomplish the goal, upon graduation, student employment.  The institution and instructor are focal points to make PACE+ST3 a successful, dynamic program.

Benefits to the School include:

• Alignment with nationally recognized organization (I-CAR Education Foundation)
• Interaction with local businesses
• Strong industry support for both school and instuctor
• Curriculum that’s matched to NATEF standards

School Responsibilities include:

• Recruiting qualified candidates
• Work with business
• Executing a competency-based curriculum
• Lending strong support to instructor directed program
• Administer program and provide necessary information

In conjunction with the school administration, the instructor takes the lead in directing and supporting the PACE+ST3 to the benefit of the intern, business, curriculum, and the school’s educational/industry involvement.

The Benefits to Instructor include:

• Increased focus on nationally supported industry standards
• Close working relationship with national and local industry partners
• Great opportunity to “produce” a student/intern that meets entry-level standards for industry employment

The Instructor Responsibilities include:

• Has an awareness of the PACE+ST3 and industry needs (dictates)
• Be able to support the curriculum and equipment needs
• Challenged to maintain the high standards dictated by the program
• Must market and offer a career path in collision repair (to include academics) for student/intern graduates
