I-CAR Curriculum

The I-CAR Live Curriculum, formerly known as I-CAR Enhanced Delivery, is a series of individual, modularized training programs, which allows instructors to choose those segments that best fit their career and technical school or college. These programs offer in-depth coverage of both conventional and innovative collision repair technologies and processes.
I-CAR Live programs feature knowledge-based training and performance-based testing, with an increased emphasis on hands-on exercises.

All I-CAR Live programs feature:

  • Instructor-led training combined with state-of-the-art technology.
  • Testing which allows students to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have learned.
  • All the classroom materials needed to prepare for the class, including the textbook, objective worksheets, quizzes, overhead masters and more!

Facts about I-CAR Live Curriculum:

  • The programs were all written around the (now) four NATEF areas. Instructors have the option to purchase a full set to cover all the NATEF areas or to purchase individually chosen programs.
  • All of the classroom preparation information that is located on the disc (such as the quizzes, textbook, objective worksheet, etc.) is also available online! After purchasing
I-CAR Live, each instructor will receive a password and username so they can access a special area of our web site. In that area, an instructor will find beneficial information including “teaching techniques for using Enhanced Delivery,” frequently asked questions and program updates.
  • After purchasing I-CAR Live, an instructor has the option of buying props, student consumables, and electrical training boards which go along with the curriculum. These props will help your students get a better idea visually of the concepts in the program and can help provide a better learning experience
  • As an instructor facilitating I-CAR Live, you would have the option of applying for the Industry Training Alliance, which allows students to apply for I-CAR points. Over the past 5 years, over 50,000 I-CAR points have already been applied for by students or their employers from career and technical high schools or colleges that are participating in the Industry Training Alliance. Earning I-CAR points is a great resume builder and increases a student’s employability when entering the workforce. This also can save the employer’s training expense. I-CAR points earned can be applied to both the I-CAR Gold Class Professionals and Platinum Individual recognition programs.
