This is the Wiring Diagram icon. You will click this icon to obtain information regarding the portion of the wiring diagram that is being measured during interactive activities.
This is the Self-Study/Mentor Narration icon, or Speaker icon as it is sometimes called, mainly found on the Student CD-ROM; however, this icon may periodically appear on the Instructor CD-ROM. This icon functions the same in both areas. You will click this icon to play an audio file relating to the screen.
This is the Service Manual icon. You will click this icon to obtain important service manual recommendations that will be needed for damage analysis and before starting repairs.
This is the Vehicle Protection icon. You will click this icon to obtain important information on protecting the vehicle during the repair process.
This is the Demonstration icon. You will click this icon to obtain information about a demonstration to be performed in class, or a prop to be passed around and/or displayed.
This is the Technical Service Bulletin icon. You will click this icon to obtain important technical service bulletin information that will be needed for damage analysis and before starting repairs.
This is the Graphic Magnify icon. You will click this icon to enlarge the graphic on the screen.
This is the Projector icon. This icon appears in the printed version of the Instructor Manual only. It is found on all pages that have a corresponding screen on the CD-ROM that needs to be displayed to Students.

This is the QuickTime VR icon. This icon will indicate that the image on the screen is a QuickTime VR. Hold the mouse button down on the image and move either horizontally or vertically to rotate the image.
This is the Activity icon. You will click this icon to obtain information about a class activity.
This is the Personal Safety icon. You will click this icon to obtain important information about personal safety issues that you need to be aware of when working through the repair process.
This is the Maintenance icon. You will click this icon to obtain maintenance information for shop tools and equipment.
This is the Hazardous Materials icon. You will click this icon to obtain important information on what hazardous materials may be involved in the repair process.
This is the Environmental Safety icon. You will click this icon to obtain important information on environmental safety practices during the repair process.
This is the Instructor Information icon, or Apple icon as it is sometimes called. You will click this icon to obtain a video, audio file, or information screen that assists in presenting a topic to the Students, while going through the Instructor Training process and for reference when presenting the Program material in class. This icon is found on the Instructor Disc and in the Instructor Manual only.
These icons appear throughout the classroom presentation on the CD-ROM as well as the printed version of the Instructor Manual.

First, mouse over each icon for an explanation of its use. Then, click each icon to look at an example from current programs.
