Enhanced Delivery Demonstration
NATEF Support NATEF, the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation, is an independent, not-for-profit organization whose mission is "to evaluate technician training programs against standards developed by the automotive industry and recommend qualifying programs for certification (accreditation) by ASE, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence."

"The NATEF process has resulted in certified automotive training programs in both the secondary and post-secondary levels. NATEF also evaluates the providers of in-service technician training programs under a program called Continuing Automotive Service Education (CASE)."

Two different NATEF crosswalks are provided for your use.

Click the first button to see a crosswalk that lists the Enhanced Delivery Programs that are required to cover the NATEF tasks in all five certification areas. In addition, the Programs required for each of the five certification areas are identified under that title by a shaded box. This visual crosswalk aid will allow you to quickly determine which Enhanced Delivery Programs you need to order to cover the tasks in the area(s) you are certifying, recertifying, or teaching.

Click the second button to see a crosswalk that lists all of the NATEF tasks by repair area. The Enhanced Delivery Program(s) where the individual tasks are covered are noted at the right side of the task. There are also two columns provided for you to note the hour(s) spent in the classroom and/or lab for that task. A formula is built into this EXCEL file to calculate the total hours spent on this repair area. Complete and print this file for NATEF evaluation.
