ALLDATA DONATES TO I-CAR EDUCATION FOUNDATION’S COLLISION REPAIR EDUCATION CAMPAIGN

Hoffman Estates, IL – October 5, 2009 – ALLDATA has announced its support of the I-CAR Education Foundation by making a donation to the Collision Repair Education Campaign. The funds, which total over $7,400, will go towards grants and scholarships to be distributed to the schools across North America. ALLDATA contributes a portion of each ALLDATA Collision(sm) sale from facilities that have achieved the I-CAR Gold Class designation to the I-CAR Education Foundation.

“The ALLDATA donation program is unique in that it supports the education of future collision technicians through existing autobody professionals’ own continuing education – a win-win for the entire collision industry,” said Scott Kruger, Executive Director of the Education Foundation. “I am pleased that our industry’s overall commitment to education is such that this year’s contribution triples the amount donated by ALLDATA from last year.  Thanks to ALLDATA and we look forward to working together in the future to assist collision students and schools across the country.”

“ALLDATA is proud to support the work of the I-CAR Educational Foundation,” said ALLDATA Director of National Accounts, Wayne Mitchell. “Today's vehicles and the material used to build them are highly complex, and they are getting more complex by the day. I-CAR’s ongoing professional training and ALLDATA Collision’s OE repair information are both vital to safe, effective collision repairs.”
