AAA NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, NEVADA AND UTAH CONTRIBUTES $5,000 TO
THE I-CAR EDUCATION FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT COLLISION EDUCATION

Hoffman Estates, IL – March 19, 2009– AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah (AAA NCNU) has displayed its commitment to “Fueling the Future” of the collision industry by contributing $5,000 to the I-CAR Education Foundation. AAA NCNU’s contribution is an investment into the entire industry as this enhances the I CAR Education Foundation’s ability to offer grants and scholarships to career and technical schools and colleges and the students attending these schools. By increasing educational opportunities for these students, who are tomorrow’s industry professionals, the future will be brighter for all segments.

“On behalf of the collision repair students, instructors, and schools nationwide, the I-CAR Education Foundation would like to thank AAA NCNU for its continued investment in the future of our industry,” said Scott Kruger, I-CAR Education Foundation Executive Director. “This donation will be used for scholarships and program grants that will create and support the next generation of entry-level collision repair technicians.”

"Our AAA club is very pleased to support the I-CAR Education Foundation’s continuing work in educating future collision repair professionals,” said Eric Andel, manager of insurance claims for AAA NCNU.

AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah offers a wide array of automotive, travel, insurance, DMV, financial services and consumer discounts to more than 4 million members. AAA has been a leader and advocate for the safety and security of all travelers since it was founded more than 100 years ago.

The I-CAR Education Foundation, founded in 1991, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to securing donations that support philanthropic and collision repair education activities that promote and enhance career opportunities in the industry.
