Education Foundation News: 2008 Education Foundation Press Releases: April 21, 2008 ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR FOUNDATION DONATES $2,500 TO I-CAR EDUCATION FOUNDATION Hoffman Estates, IL – April 21, 2008 – The Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation has contributed $2,500 to the I-CAR Education Foundation and its new mission to support philanthropic and collision repair education activities that promote and enhance career opportunities in the industry. “Enterprise is a local company with a presence in the thousands of neighborhoods we serve, placing us on a first-name basis with the people who call those neighborhoods home,” says John Ward, Assistant Vice President of Vehicle Repair for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. “We realize we owe our success to the support and good will of the people who live in those communities and who do business with us. That's why we are committed to involving ourselves in the support of worthwhile endeavors, such as the I-CAR Education Foundation, in the hometowns and cities where we operate our businesses.” The I-CAR Education Foundation, founded in 1991, is a not-for-profit organization; its IRS 501(c) (3) status allows it to accept grants and donations from government agencies, individuals, and businesses.
