BROWARD COUNTY I-CAR COMMITTEE 5TH ANNUAL GOLF OUTING BENEFITS I-CAR EDUCATION FOUNDATION
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – November 15, 2007– The Broward County I-CAR Committee held their fifth annual golf outing on September 29, 2007, hosting nearly 100 golfers to raise funds benefiting the future of the collision industry and its workforce. Thanks to the generous contributions of individuals and local collision industry partners, funds raised will be allocated to support the I-CAR Education Foundation mission.
Julia Suppe, owner of Florida Auto Body and Broward County I-CAR Committee Chair stated, “As we usually hold these tournaments during hurricane season, our prayers were answered when the skies stopped raining long enough for us to have a wonderful, successful tournament. Each year this event grows because it is a lot of fun for the golfers, sponsors, and the I-CAR Committee members. I would like to thank everyone involved for their outstanding support and look forward to hosting this event again in 2008!”
“The Broward County I-CAR Committee is a great example of how hosting a fun event like a golf tournament can make a difference for area career and technical schools and colleges who need industry support,” added Michelle Shotkoski, I-CAR Education Foundation Planning and Project Manager. “Together, we can make a difference.”

The 6th Annual Broward County I-CAR Committee golf outing will be held again next year at the Palm Aire Country Club, date to be determined.
The I-CAR Education Foundation, founded in 1991, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to securing donations that support philanthropic and collision repair education activities that promote and enhance career opportunities in the industry.
