Education Foundation News: 2007 Education Foundation Press Releases: August 29, 2007 DUPONT CONTRIBUTES $5,000 TO SUPPORT THE COLLISION INDUSTRY HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – August 29, 2007– DuPont Performance Coatings contributed a total of $5,000 to support the efforts of the I-CAR Education Foundation in June 2007. The $5,000 contribution to the Education Foundation General Fund will support many of the programs and services administered by the Education Foundation. “The contribution received from DuPont Performance Coatings demonstrates their commitment to investing in the future of the collision industry by allowing us to continue creating programs, products, and services for career and technical schools and colleges. This support is critical to help attract young people into the industry and develop the latest training materials for their schools. Our efforts to make a difference in the collision industry are made possible only by such generous and dedicated professionals like those at DuPont Performance Coatings,” said Ron W. Ray, Executive Director of the I-CAR Education Foundation. Bruce Cooley, DuPont Business Development & Industry Relations Manager said, "DuPont Performance Coatings is pleased to contribute to the efforts of the I-CAR Education Foundation to support and advance collision repair education activities. This annual donation is part of our ongoing commitment to help promote and enhance career opportunities in our industry." The I-CAR Education Foundation, founded in 1991, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to securing donations that support philanthropic and collision repair education activities that promote and enhance career opportunities in the industry.
