DONATE ONLINE NOW AT WWW.ED-FOUNDATION.ORG

Hoffman Estates, IL– April 30, 2007 – In an effort to make donating to the I-CAR Education Foundation even more convenient, supporters now have the option of donating online at its web site: www.ed-foundation.org. Those wishing to make a contribution online have the option of donating to four areas: the $100 Per Collision Repair Facility Per Year Campaign, the Industry Partners Annual Fund (IPAF), the collisionkids.org and collisioncareers.org web sites, or the 2007 Foundation Golf Tournament.

Ron Ray, I-CAR Education Foundation Executive Director said, “Many of the schools with a collision repair and refinishing training program operate with limited budgets. By providing an even easier way for those within the industry to help, we will enable business owners to support schools with a quick and easy way to make a secure, tax-deductible donation that will ensure that schools have the curriculum and training to develop entry-level employees.”

Industry support allows the Foundation to provide the necessary tools to research, develop, and implement new programs, curriculum, and recruiting opportunities for career and technical schools and colleges. Supporting the $100 Per Collision Repair Facility Per Year Campaign will allocate 85 percent of the funds raised to collision repair and refinish school programs in the regions where the funds originated. Contributors selecting to donate to the Industry Partners Annual Fund will be supporting the Foundation General Operating Fund. Choosing to donate to the collisionkids.org and collisioncareers.org web sites will support new content, promotion, and maintenance of these web sites which are geared to attract and support careers in the collision industry. Proceeds from the 2007 Foundation Golf Tournament, like other donation options, support the Foundation Mission to attract entry-level candidates and assist in preparing them for careers in the collision industry.

To donate online, visit the I-CAR Education Foundation at www.ed-foundation.org and select the “Donate Now” button.

The I-CAR Education Foundation, founded in 1991, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to attracting entry-level candidates and assist in preparing them for careers in the collision industry.
