Education Foundation News: 2007 Education Foundation Press Releases: April 13, 2007 I-CAR EDUCATION FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES DATE FOR 2007 GOLF TOURNAMENT Hoffman Estates, IL– April 13, 2007 – The Sixth Annual I-CAR Education Foundation Golf Tournament, sponsored by Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., will take place on Thursday, July 26, 2007 in Orlando, FL at the ChampionsGate Golf Club. The tournament will be held in conjunction with the 2007 I-CAR International Annual Meeting and individuals are encouraged to register online by visiting www.i-car.com and select the International Annual Meeting option under Event Information. Industry professionals not attending the upcoming international annual meeting are also encouraged to participate and help support the future of the industry! Sponsorship opportunities are still available for hole sponsors at $200 each and promotional sponsors range from $500 to $1,000. Proceeds from the tournament support the Foundation’s Mission to attract entry-level candidates and assist in preparing them for careers in the collision industry. “It is through industry participation in these types of events that the I-CAR Education Foundation is able to continue to develop new products and services for career and technical schools and colleges with collision repair programs,” said Clark Plucinski of True2Form Collision Repair Centers and the I-CAR Education Foundation Board Chairman. The I-CAR Education Foundation, founded in 1991, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to attracting entry-level candidates and assist in preparing them for careers in the collision industry.
