Education Foundation News: 2005 Education Foundation Press Releases: 2005 Archives December 19, 2005 I-CAR TECH CENTRE INAUGURAL GOLF OUTING BENEFITS TWO LOCAL CAREER AND TECHNICAL COLLEGES HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL December 19, 2005 The I-CAR Tech Centre held their inaugural golf outing on August 24, 2005. The outing was a success as 60 players from throughout Wisconsin and Illinois participated. Congratulations to the first place team of Jeff Eiden, Scott Kloiber, Scott Eiden, and Shane Wallace. Through the generous contributions of individuals, and local collision industry partners, funds were raised that will be allocated to the I-CAR Education Foundation, scholarships for Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) Auto Collision Repair and Refinish program students, and scholarships for Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) Auto Collision Repair and Refinish program students. Jason Bartanen, Technical Development Manager for the I-CAR Tech Centre states, “On behalf of the I-CAR Tech Centre and the I-CAR Education Foundation, I would like to thank all of the sponsors, participants, and volunteers for their outstanding support and look forward to hosting this event again in 2006.” The 2nd Annual I‑CAR Tech Centre golf outing has been planned for August 16, 2006 at Irish Waters in Freedom, WI.
