ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR RECOGNIZES TEAM USA COLLISION REPAIR INSTRUCTORS AND ADMINISTRATORS

(Rolling Meadows, IL) The I-CAR Education Foundation recently announced a partnership with Enterprise Rent-a-Car to recognize the hard work and dedication of vocational technical instructors and administrators. Two collision repair technology instructors and two administrators will be receiving three-day rental packages from Enterprise Rent-a-Car. The criteria for this recognition is to be from the schools that help produce the 1999 Team USA competitors who will be competing in the International Youth Skills Competitions in Montreal. These contestants were chosen in a trials process that was held at NACE '97.

Chosen to join Team USA was Kasey Novinger from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for the Collision Repair Technology Contest. The instructor recognized was Kasey's high school instructor, Victor Yordy, from Dauphin County Vocational Technical Center. The administrator recognized was Colin Williamson, Dean of the School of Transportation Technology at the Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Also chosen to join Team USA was Caleb Burnison from Wichita, Kansas for the Automotive Refinishing Contest. The instructor recognized as George Hull. The administrator recognized was Terry Tedman, Department Head for Transportation. Both work for the Wichita Area Technical College.

"We are pleased to take part in a program that rewards those in the repair industry who are rarely recognized for their contributions," said David Monson, National Marketing Manager for Enterprise Rent-a-Car.

"Instructors and administrators don't get anywhere near the credit they deserve for what they do to try and meet the demands of a very demanding industry," added Mark Claypool, Executive Director of the I-CAR Education Foundation. "We saw this as a way to give credit where credit is due."

For more information on the Team USA, ordering Team USA posters and brochures, or other questions, call 847-590-1191, Ext. 283. Information is also available on the Team USA Web site, located at www.team-usa.org.

The I-CAR Education Foundation, founded in 1991, is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality and number of entry-level employees for the Collision Industry.
